TIERRA DEL NORTE ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION
Greetings
TDNAHA Members! This
comes to you from Topsail Island in North Carolina, trust me it is in the middle
of no where. Those brave souls that would like to look at a map, find
Jacksonville, North Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina, go to the ocean and
there is this small inlet island ...that is "it”! I
have kept my membership with TDNAHA since it is my hope to get back to
California someday. On the "horse" front the update is that Morgan
LeFay (dam of Mulberry, Monica X and LCA Mercuryrising) is currently infoal for
a May 2002 baby. She is bred to MAF EASY STREET (NDL Hermes x Exclusive) who
Mary Trowbridge currently has in training for english and driving. The foal will
be a full sibling to LCA Mercuryrising and is offered for sale in utero. LCA
Mercuryrising goes to Dolorosa Arabians (which thank goodness is 30 minutes from
this little island paradise) for Rob Bick to "finish" him for
Scottsdale. He is entered in the Amateur to Handle 2 year old colt class and
also the Open 2 year old colt class! I welcome inquiries on "MC" as he
is for sale. Rob loves this colt and sees great potential and several other
trainers have seen him in the past couple of months and feel he has a future as
both a show horse and potential herd sire!!! I
will be offering 15 breedings to select mares at Scottsdale. We will also be
announcing a presentation of him at Scottsdale and invite everyone to attend. My
wonderful Barbary gelding is "volunteering" at Camp Jabez in Ohio, a
lovely non‑profit camp for "at risk" children. He will be there
through the summer and I will be going up in August for a week to volunteer,
along with Tirawa (a 120 pound malamute mix who is my best friend). Other
news is that I am now offering EQUINE SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY as well as human
massage. I will be booking up to 4 horses/humans a day throughout the Scottsdale
show and after the show will be available for large farm visits throughout the
country. I would love to discuss the benefits of this service to anyone who is
interested and invite inquiries via email or telephone. Well,
that is about it from the island!!! Be well and safe my friends. God
Bless America and all she stands for!!! Barbara
Schulz, Morgan LeFay, LCA Mercuryrising, Barbary's Gift and Tirawa
Due
to lots of interest in this stallion, Lang & Faye Hall announce the purchase
of 1995 US Reserve National Champion Western Pleasure stallion, MA Gallant Ladd
+. Five of his 12 foals competed at
US Nationals in Albuquerque this past year and seven or eight will be at
Scottsdale including 2001 Scottsdale champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse,
Tozcas Promise, Canadian Top Ten Halter gelding Risky Bizness KHA, US National
cow horse (at 3 years old), Trick or Treat and multi champion halter mare, MA
Windsong. Gallant
Ladd is standing at Kit Hall Arabians in Chino. If you like a great pedigree,
prettiness and horses that can perform in many disciplines, consider breeding to
this stallion. The percentage of great horses already performing who are by this
stallion is impressive. The Hall's are offering special discounts for top dams
and discounts for multiple breedings. Call Faye at 619/222-1517 for details.
